Like the games that take place on the fields we construct, we are organized, competitive and we pride ourselves on our physical capabilities. Our team is skilled and honors such valued traditions as honesty, firm handshakes, American-made and finishing what we started.
Red Oak takes precision and quality to a whole new level, leaving behind perfectly constructed fields. Our earth-moving legacy paves the way for generations of athletes and lasting memories. If you are looking for quality sports field design, the answer is the only family-owned business employed with folks who look forward to days filled with gritty, problem-solving, dirt-under-the-nails, good old fashioned hard work.

I have been involved in farming all my life, and have been both a husband and father for over 30 years. I was raised on a farm in Tifton, Georgia, where my love of soil grew. I spent many hours trying to kill grass, as it disrupts the growth of crops—little did I know I would end up growing grass for athletic fields!
I had the opportunity to play football at the University of Alabama, and was able to visit some great athletic venues. It was during this time that my appreciation for athletic field excellence grew. Once my son Jason and I began our turf farm, we quickly realized the need for quality athletic fields. Thus Red Oak Sports was born, an athletic field construction business with the passion this industry needed.
Since the start of Red Oak Sports, I have either renovated or built over 100 athletic fields. Some of these include the University of Florida baseball field, the first world-class cricket stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and the Southeast Regional Little League World Series stadium—dubbed as "The Crown Jewell" by the Macon Telegraph.
I am extremely proud of what Red Oak Sports has been able to accomplish, and we would love to turn your athletic field dreams into a reality.

Having grown up on a farm in Tifton, GA, I'm considered a third generation farmer. Between growing up in that atmosphere and my involvement in high school sports, especially football, there were several characteristics instilled in me as a young man—work hard, be honest, be humble, be one of good faith and never give less than 100%. Faith plays a very important role in my life, as I currently serve as a deacon in my church. To this day, I still believe these important traits are the reason people enjoy doing business with Red Oak Sports.
I attended Valdosta State University where I received a degree in organizational communication, as well as a lifetime worth of street smarts. After graduation, I immediately went out into the work force. And after holding several jobs over the next 2 years, I moved back to Tifton and started Red Oak Turf with my father. I guess when you grow up with dirt under your fingernails it's hard to get it out.
Our goal was to grow a first class product, and to provide the best service in the business. With those goals and two years into the turf industry, Red Oak Sports was born. My father has led this business venture, which I believe is how our principles have stayed the same. A major goal in our organization has been to never lose a customer due to something that we have done. And if we stay hands on and concentrate on the little things, the rest will take care of itself.
In the past 5 years we have either renovated or built over 100 athletic fields, ranging from recreational complexes to the World Cup Cricket fields in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Along with turf grass and athletic field construction, we also row crop farm and run a cattle farm operation.
